Thursday Doors: Be

After visiting with a long-time friend, I hadn’t seen in years, I wandered through the malls in Tsim Tsa Tsui waiting for my daughter to get off work.  I’m not much of a shopper, so instead, I looked around for interesting doors.  I didn’t find what I was looking for, exactly, but found what I needed; a reminder and an inspiration.  A door that had written on it …

Be

That’s my inspiration for the day, to “be.”  To fully be in each moment, taking what comes in stride with joy, sadness, or all the in-betweens.  I’m sure this word conjures up different meanings for everyone.  So, the inspiration and applications are up to you!

Have a wonderful weekend and remember to “be.”

In a world where we’re constantly pulled in 15 directions at once on a daily basis, this is a good reminder indeed 🙂

  4. Excellent reminder. Here’s the song that it reminds me of and, although the title is “Breathe”, there’s a line that says “just be.”

    1. Hi Janet, thanks so much for your wonderful comment. I love the song and listened to it a number of times. My favorite lines … “When the stress is on the rise in my heart I feel you say just; Breathe, just breathe; Come and rest at my feet; And be, just be.” Take care! =)

      1. I’m really happy you liked it, Brenda. It’s so applicable these days, unfortunately.
