Thursday Doors: ‘Tis the Season

The following photos are my contribution to Thursday Doors, a door-lovers group hosted by Norm Frampton.

I love Christmas!  So, in the spirit of the upcoming holiday, I thought I’d create a post featuring an ecclectric group of red and green doors.  The colors of the season.

Some of them you might have seen, but I hope you enjoy them just the same!

Peng Chau Island, Hong Kong

Macau, PRC

Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong

Sorsogon, Philppines

Seoul, Korea

Perpignan, France

Montpelier, France

And, my favorite red door of all!  The one that leads to family in Ohio, USA!

I hope this holiday time is one that brings you joy and peace.  Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate!

If you would like to see more doors from all around the globe, visit Norm’s.  Have a lovely weekend!

    1. I know some people do the gold and silver with blue, and that’s pretty too, but I’m a classic green and red girl for Christmas. I’m glad you enjoyed! =)

    1. I’m so happy you enjoyed the photos, Jen! This weekend we’re off to the Christmas market in downtown Perpignan. I am reminded by these posts to be thankful for the wonderful life of travel I’ve been privileged to enjoy. Love you, sis!

Though I’m personally not quite ready to start celebrating the season of Santa, this is a great idea and you have some wonderful specimens in this collection. The first two from Montpelier and the Seoul one are my faves.

    1. I know I’m pushing it for the season, but I’m feeling sentimental this year. The Christmas market here in Perpignan opens tonight and I can’t wait to experience that plus travel to a few others. Plus, Thanksgiving was yesterday and all … Hope you are staying warm and enjoy the season when you’re ready. =)
