Thursday Doors: More Andorra Doors

 

The following photos are my contribution to Thursday Doors, a door-lovers group hosted by Norm Frampton.

For this week’s door post, we continue our tour of Andorra la Vella, the Capital of the Principality of Andorra, or as it’s also called, the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra.

We began the day by stopping to get directions from the friendly guides at the tourist information office.  Just outside the office sat the “Nobility of Time” sculpture by Salvador Dali.

Then we made our way to the hillside Church of Saint Stephen.  A 12^th century Romanesque structure.

We walked up to the front door of the church…

And on inside.

Then out again for a lovely view across the courtyard…

And around the corner to the side door.
