The following photos are my contribution to Thursday Doors, a door-lovers group hosted by Norm Frampton. A month before the lockdown here in France, my daughter took me on a weekend trip to Barcelona, Spain. That was only February, though it feels like ages ago. As I’m sure I won’t be taking any “doorscursions” for some time, I’m happy to have a backlog of doors to share.
So, here are a few photos that were captured while strolling down La Rambla boulevard, a pedestrian walkway a little more than a kilometer long. We moseyed, starting from the south point of the boulevard, the waterfront called Port Vell. The following photos are courtesy of my daughter, Sarah.
We enjoyed the street artists that included human statues, the cafés, the incredible architecture of the buildings, and the Liceu Theatre.
We especially enjoyed wandering through The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria Food Market.
Thank you for stopping by! If you would like to see more doors from all around the globe, visit Norm’s. Stay safe, stay well!
