Thursday Doors: Bright Buildings in Collioure

The following photos are my contribution to Thursday Doors, a door-lovers group hosted by Norm Frampton.

~~

As promised last week, this week I am featuring more doors my daughter, Sarah, captured in Collioure, a lovely town along the Vermillion Coast in southern France, from October 2019.

“The pearl of the Vermillion Coast, the little town of Collioure, prized by painters, makes an incredibly picturesque, enchanting scene.” (https://www.france-voyage.com/tourism/collioure-2035.htm)

I love the brilliance of the buildings!

The screen door of the second door is super cute:) Saw the same at the cabin in Twin Harte – a mosaic on the ground, in front of the front door – kind of like a welcome sign! Who knows I’m going to copy this idea:):)

    1. It is. I also like the painting of the daisies there. The mosaics on the ground in front of the door is a beautiful touch and creates a welcome feel to the place for sure. You should definitely do the same! 🙂

This place is awesome, Brenda. All very colourful and my favourite is the stairway with flowerpots and that art piece beside the door…just perfect!

So brave to have so much glass in an entry door with no curtains! I love it!
