This post is my contribution to Thursday Doors, a weekly door-lover’s group hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities.

In two-days-time, my husband and I leave Hong Kong for Spain. Before I go, I wanted to share a few leftover random photos that I took near our accommodations here in Yau Ma Tei while visiting Hong Kong .

Due to the COVID outbreak here, many shops, restaurants, and stores are closed. Here’s my favorite tea stand with its doors closed and metal shutters drawn. Sniff!

Mido Café, on Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei, is a famous old fashioned Hong Kong-style ‘tea restaurant’ that serves a fusion of Chinese and western cuisine. The café has been the backdrop for a number of movies.

Goodbye to Hong Kong for now. It’s been nice to see you. I wish you well during this difficult time. Hello to Spain! I look forward to door discoveries once I get there, unpack, and settle in.

Thank you for stopping by. Stay safe, stay well!

Thanks so much, Dan. We are a little nervous as most people are when traveling, but we’ll be careful and get there in the end. Take care! 🙂

Lots of great art there, Brenda, but I especially enjoyed the art on the stairs. Have a safe and wonderful time in Spain.
