This is my contribution to the weekly Thursday Doors challenge hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities blog.

For the third week in a row, I’m featuring photos taken while romping around cold and snowy Milan, Italy in December. It was an incredible trip and included …
The Church of Santa Maria del Carmine which was built in 1466.

Visiting the Pinacoteca museum, which is known as the Italian Louvre, and founded by Napolean Bonaparte. It opened in 1809 for works of art and dedicated to the education of students.

Wandering along the side streets.

Window shopping in the ‘golden quadrangle.’

Catching a bus to the airport from the incredible Milan Central Railway Station.

Thank you for stopping by! If you would like to see my previous posts from Milan, see Duomo of Milan and Piazza del Duomo.

These are lovely photos, Brenda. The colors are gorgeous and very welcome as we struggle along with gray and dull (waiting for spring). I can’t pick a favorite from so many beautiful photos. I hope you have a great weekend.

We stayed at a hotel on one of those back streets of Milano – it had an interior garden where we had breakfast. Lovely place.
