Thursday Doors: Kandylakias in Chania, Crete

Here is my contribution to the weekly Thursday Doors challenge hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities blog.

~~

Again, this week, I’ll be featuring tiny churches, called Kandylakias in Greek, that my husband and I discovered along roadways or in inside courtyards in Chania on the island of Crete.  If you would like to see last week’s post featuring these special little churches, visit here.  I hope you enjoy these treasures…

If you would like to see my previous posts from Chania, view Chania on the Island of CreteOld Town Chania, More Old Town Chania, and Street Art in Chania.

For more doors from all around the globe, visit Dan’s.

Thank you for stopping by! Stay safe, stay well.

They are so lovely! It was many years ago that we were on the islands and I don’t remember seeing these.

    1. After we found the first one or two, we romped around side streets looking for them. They aren’t that easy to find. If you go back, you can be on the lookout. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Jo!
