For my contribution to the weekly Thursday Doors challenge, hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities blog, I’m featuring Reggio Calabria in southern Italy. If you would like to see my first installment from Reggio, click here. I hope you enjoy a little tour of this ancient and interesting city located by the Mediterranean Sea.

I’ve never been that far south in Italy. It looks interesting.

It is interesting indeed, and the food is extra delicious. I do love Italian. My husband was raised by an Italian nanna who cooked from scratch, so we’ve eaten our fair share over the years. Thanks for stopping by, Jo! 🙂

These photos are beautiful, Brenda. You can almost feel the presence of the sea in all of them. The light is warm and rich. The doors you chose are magnificent, as is the architecture and settings.

Thanks so much, Dan! I’m very glad you enjoyed the photos. You can’t go wrong when there are so many unique structures to capture. There’s something special about the winter skies by the sea, too.

That’s an interesting sculpture!
I really like the cream colored church with the lines on the corners and around the round window. It looks like stitching. (K)

There were a couple of these-type fun statues. 🙂 I hadn’t thought about the church looking like stitching until you said something, and it’s true. Thanks so much for stopping by!
