Here is my contribution to the weekly Thursday Doors challenge hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities blog.
~~
For the third week, I am featuring doors my husband and I discovered while romping around Toulouse, France.

I don’t have much to say about the doors, only that they are very inviting. I hope you enjoy!

Fun photo … many cities and towns in France have a carousel or two in the center. Carousels hold a special place in French culture. Here is one from the center of the city of Toulouse.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy weekend!

I especially like the old heavy wooden door.

Beautiful doors and excellent photos Brenda. I love them all. The green door (Dolls & Dogs) is a deep favorite, though.
P.S. I love the way your photos capture little snipets of life in Toulouse as well. Thank you!

Thanks, Suzette, for your kind comments. The Dolls & Dogs shop is my favorite as well of this selection of open doors.

Great colleciton, Brenda.
I love the corner door at Dolls and Dogs.
I think you have the first ever photo of a door within a door where the main doors are open. That’s amazing!
I enjoyed the photos of views through the open doors, and of course, the carousel is icing on the cake.

Yeah! To be the first … 🙂 I do love a corner building. They are a treasure and there was something special about a clothing shop for Dolls & Dogs. I’m so glad you enjoyed the photos, Dan.

You found some beauties in that area of France. We recently returned from Provence and I meant to look up why they have so many carasouls.

There are a lot of beauties there that I did not get. 🙂 I didn’t realize the importance of the carousel until I traveled to other cities in France and found one in each place. Thanks!
