Thursday Doors: Elne, France

This is my contribution to the weekly Thursday Doors challenge, hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities blog.

~~

Again, this week, I am featuring the ancient, sleepy town of Elne in southwest France that is full to overflowing with history and charm. Elne is located four kilometers from the Mediterranean coast of Languedoc-Rousillon.

Last week, I featured the lovely cathedral that’s in the center of the town with the Pyrenees mountains in the background. If you would like to see this first post, visit here.

Here are a few more doors from Elne!

I hope you enjoyed a little bit more of this intriguing town!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Stay cool!

    1. It really is. We used to pass through this town from the train station to where we were living, and if you weren’t paying attention, you might miss it. 🙂 I hope you have a safe and happy holiday weekend, Jan!

The doors are wonderful, Brenda but I really love those walls. The brick and stone work is amazing.
