I am a traveler. For the last 30 years, I have wandered the world. At the present, I live in Hong Kong. I grew up in the US, but I’ve lived in ten different countries (mainly in Asia) and have visited many others. I have journeyed with my loving, caring husband of 34 years and my two (now grown) children whom I consider good friends.
As a charity worker, I am humbled and grateful for the opportunities to help children who have been orphaned and people who are vulnerable, caught in a life of poverty. As such, I’ve seen the very worst of humanity, but I have also seen beauty. Our world is broken; however, beauty lies within it.
This blog is a small space to explore all the corners of my experiences and imagination. I have also enjoyed immensely meeting lovely people in this new found blogging world!
“I’ve never tried to block out the memories of the past, even though some are painful. I don’t understand people who hide from their past. Everything you live through helps to make you the person you are now.” — Sophia Loren
