I hope you all had a joyful holiday time and a happy new year! This is my first door post of 2022, and it’s my contribution to Thursday Doors, a weekly door-lover’s group hosted by Dan Antion over at No Facilities.
The doors I’m featuring in this post are from Alicante, Spain, a port city on the southeastern coast of Spain. My husband and I visited Alicante back in September 2021. It is my third installment of doors from Alicante. The first two installments can be found here – Alicante, Spain & St. Nicolas Cathedral.
The following doors were found in Casco Antiguo-Santa Cruz, a fascinating hillside neighborhood between the beach and our accommodation. My husband and I walked through these winding streets most days of the two weeks we stayed in Alicante. Here’s a few of the doors we found.

For more doors from all around the globe, visit Dan at No Facilities.
I hope you enjoyed Alicante. Thank you for stopping by. Stay safe, stay well!

Looks like a few of those doors have survived a lot of damage!

Thanks so much, Sheree. Those are my favourite. I do like doors with lots of character, even beaten up a bit. 🙂

These are wonderful doors, Brenda. I love arched wooden doors, especially in a nice stone entrance. It’s good to see you back for the 2022 ride!

Thanks, Dan! It’s good to be back as well. I hope to be more consistent in 2022. I, also, like arched doors especially on a well-worn stone building. Take care!

My favorites, as usual, are the ones with arches and the ones needing TLC. Battered doors have so much character!
